CBG Founder Kimberly Lujan's husband is a seasonal Coronado Beach Lifeguard and Lead Junior Lifeguard Instructor. To ensure proper fiduciary care, we declare that all board votes on funding or gear deployment are made independently without his involvement, and he receives zero financial benefit or accounts access.

Pending Filing Warning: The foundation's 501(c)(3) tax-exemption application is currently in progress. Early donations/merchandise purchases are non-tax-deductible until IRS approval is finalized. Retroactive receipts will be emailed post-approval.

CA Sales Tax & Permitting

CA Seller's Permit: We are registered with the CDTFA. San Diego County sales tax (7.5%) is tracked and remitted quarterly, monitored by our board CPA.

CCPA & PCI Compliance

Privacy Opt-In: Under CCPA guidelines, we secure explicit opt-in consent for all donor files. We never sell or share contact databases. Online gateways are fully secure and PCI-compliant.
